Arms Cache Linked to ULFA(I) Recovered Near Assam-Arunachal Border

Security forces recovered an MQ rifle, three magazines, and 120 rounds near Namsai, along the Assam-Arunachal border. The joint operation by Assam Police, 23 Assam Rifles, and Military Intelligence followed inputs from arrested ULFA(I) cadre Rupam Asom. Surrendered member Biju Asom confirmed the location. Rupam was linked to extortion and named in the 2018 killing of a police officer. Operations to track other group members continue.
