Around 40 Injured as Night Bus Collides with Dumper Truck in Assam’s Baihata Chariali

Kamrup, October 31: Around 40 passengers, including women and children, were injured after a speeding dumper truck reportedly collided with a night bus at Baihata Chariali in Assam’s Kamrup district early Saturday morning. The accident occurred around 2 AM when the bus was travelling from Siliguri to Tezpur.

Following the collision, the injured passengers were rescued and rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are yet to be officially confirmed. Further details regarding the accident are awaited.
