Arrest Made in Brutal Murder Case of Salon Owner

The Hailakandi police made a breakthrough in the investigation of the heinous murder of Uttam Seal, the owner of Relax Hair and Unisex Beauty Salon, by apprehending one of the suspects, Dayal Das. Das was arrested in Silchar’s Ghaniala area and has been remanded to police custody for three days by the CJM court. Seal was discovered murdered inside his salon on March 19, with his hands and feet bound and evidence of strangulation. The investigation continues, with another suspect, Roman Burman, still at large. Police are intensifying their efforts to locate additional accomplices, while the court reviews evidence presented by the prosecution.
