Arrest Made in Guwahati Airport Area Murder Case

Azara police in Guwahati arrested Gautam Rai, the suspect in the murder of Suntia Munda, an unidentified woman found near Guwahati Airport. Rai, who had been missing since the incident, was apprehended in Khetri. The victim, identified as Munda from Musalpur in Baksa, was allegedly murdered by Rai following a domestic dispute. Her body was discovered buried in Rai’s rented house after locals reported a foul odor. The property owner claimed ignorance of the couple’s residence.
