Ashok Singhal Reviews Progress of Sivasagar Medical College

Sivasagar, Assam: Health Minister Ashok Singhal reviewed the construction of the Sivasagar Medical College at Demow, where around 35% of the work has been completed. He said the ₹500-crore project will significantly strengthen healthcare and medical education in Upper Assam. During his visit, the minister also inspected Sivasagar Civil Hospital and praised Dr. Surajit Giri and his team for achieving zero snakebite deaths for the fifth consecutive year.
