Assam Approves ₹2,750 Cr World Bank Loan for Education and Skill Training

The Assam Cabinet has approved a ₹2,750 crore World Bank loan to boost education and skill development. Around 400 schools and 1,733 Anganwadi centres will be upgraded. Teachers and principals will receive management training. Under the CM-FLIGHT scheme, 3,000 youth will be trained in Japanese for overseas jobs, with government scholarships and bank loan support. Training begins in October.
