Assam BJP Alleges Protocol Lapse During President Murmu’s West Bengal Visit

The Assam BJP has raised concerns over alleged protocol lapses during President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to West Bengal for the 9th International Santhal Conference. Party spokesperson Mita Nath Bora claimed the venue shift from Bidhannagar in Siliguri to Bagdogra limited participation of the Santhal community.

She also criticised the absence of senior West Bengal government officials at the President’s reception, calling it a breach of protocol. Bora urged respect for constitutional offices and criticised the Mamata Banerjee-led government over the issue.
