Assam Cabinet Approves ₹213 Crore Projects for Lakhimpur District

The Assam Cabinet approved high-impact projects worth ₹213 crore for Lakhimpur district, focusing on infrastructure, education, and cultural preservation. Key projects include the construction of roads in Ronganadi and Nowboicha LACs, flood protection on the Dikrong River, and anti-erosion measures along the Subansiri River. Educational enhancements include a Science stream at Laluk College and a Model Degree College in Bedeti. Cultural initiatives include the development of the Phat Bihu Cultural Complex and the Sri Sri Madhabdev Jonmo Khetra site. Additionally, the Dhakuakhana Sub-Division Hospital will be upgraded to a District Civil Hospital.
