Assam Certifies Five Hospitals to Offer Surrogacy Services

Assam Health Minister Ashok Singhal certified five hospitals to run surrogacy clinics under the ART and Surrogacy Acts. The certified centers include Apollo Fertility, Down Town Hospital, GMCH, The Institute of Human Reproduction (Guwahati), and Swasti Hospital (Rangia). The move ensures ethical, regulated fertility treatments. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma called it a milestone for childless couples in Assam.
