Assam CM Distributes 881 Land Pattas to Boost Land Security

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed 881 land pattas covering 369 bighas and 10 lechas to residents of four villages in Barbangshar Mouza. The initiative aims to secure fair compensation during land acquisitions and facilitate access to bank loans and benefits. CM Sarma also announced Mission Basundhara 3.0 to issue pattas to Namghars, schools, and institutions, and new legislation to protect indigenous land rights. The ceremony was attended by key officials and politicians.
