Assam CM Files FIR for Violence During Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra Against Rahul Gandhi and Congress Leaders

Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, has formally filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Rahul Gandhi, the Congress MP, KC Venugopal, the general secretary of the party, Kanhaiya Kumar, the in-charge of the All India Congress Committee of the National Students’ Union of India, and others.

During Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Congress members attacked police officers and caused property damage and violence. These events prompted the decision to file a lawsuit.
