Assam CM Promises Development and Initiatives in Diphu Campaign Rally

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma campaigned for BJP nominee Amarsingh Tisso at Dongkamukam, emphasizing the BJP’s control of all three “Ds” – Diphu, Dispur, and Delhi. Sarma expressed confidence in winning the Diphu Lok Sabha seat by over three lakh votes due to the party’s focus on development.

At KASA Stadium, Sarma highlighted past projects like the Assam Mala road and promised more, including a law college, veterinary college, and new university for Diphu. He assured swift issuance of Arunudoi cards to ration card holders and announced an increase in MLA seats for West Karbi Anglong from one to two.

Sarma called for peace among ethnic groups and praised the district’s good metric results. He pledged 50,000 new posts for unemployed youths post-election and mentioned progress on the demand for an autonomous state for three districts, with Amarsingh Tisso to lead.

Accompanied by KAAC chief Dr. Tuliram Ronghang, MLA Rupsing Teron, and others, Sarma’s rally highlighted BJP’s development plans and commitment to the region.
