Assam CRPF Jawan Killed in Maoist IED Blast in Jharkhand

CRPF Head Constable Mahendra Laskar from Assam died after twin IED blasts by Maoists in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district. The explosions, triggered in the Saranda forest, also injured two other CRPF personnel, who are now stable. Police said the blasts were carried out during the CPI (Maoist)’s ‘Resistance Week’. Security has been tightened across Jharkhand with CRPF, JAP, and IRB units deployed to counter further threats.
