Assam Distributes Farm Equipment to SHGs, Promotes Investment at Advantage Assam 2.0
Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu distributed 15 tractors, 18 power tillers, and other agricultural equipment to Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Dhemaji under the SMAM and Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan 2024-25 schemes. The initiative aims to boost farm mechanization and sustainable agriculture.
Meanwhile, the Advantage Assam 2.0 event in Dhubri’s Sarat Chandra Singha College of Agriculture promoted investment and infrastructure development. Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass emphasized self-reliance, while Dhubri DC Dibakar Nath highlighted opportunities in food, tourism, and infrastructure. The program included workshops on business trends and a presentation on Assam’s growth prospects.
