Assam Education Minister Meets ASPTA on TET, SRD, and Teacher Concerns

Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu met the ASPTA to discuss the Supreme Court’s TET mandate, special recruitment drive (SRD) progress, and teacher grievances. The Cabinet reduced SRD experience requirement from five to three years. Issues like refund of Rs 8,700, head teacher appointments, and textbook error corrections were also addressed, with a committee to be formed for review.
