Assam Family Injured in Arunachal Gorge Accident

A Dibrugarh family of five sustained critical injuries after their vehicle fell 50 feet into a gorge on NH-313 near Anini, Arunachal Pradesh. Among the injured, Pramila Singh’s condition remains critical.

The accident occurred due to loss of vehicle control on a challenging road section. Rescue operations faced difficulties due to the steep terrain. Police have launched an investigation and urged caution on hazardous routes, especially in winter.

In a separate incident, a car accident in Guwahati’s Jalukbari area on January 3 caused no injuries but highlighted road hazards from loose soil.
