Assam Govt Discharges 12 APS Officers Linked to APSC Scam

The Assam Government has discharged 12 APS probationers involved in the APSC cash-for-job scam, following a Gauhati High Court directive. Their earlier discharge orders from 2018–19 were reissued on July 29, 2025. The officers were found unfit for confirmation in service. Earlier, 29 ACS officers were similarly dismissed.
