Assam Govt Forms SIT to Probe Zubeen Garg’s Death

The Assam Association Singapore said some of its members are assisting authorities in the probe into singer Zubeen Garg’s death. The association refrained from public comment until investigations conclude.

Zubeen passed away on September 19 during a yacht trip in Singapore. He was scheduled to perform at a cultural festival, which was later cancelled.

Amid public outrage, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by IPS MP Gupta to investigate the case.
