Assam Govt Grants Aid to Families of Deceased Teachers

Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu distributed ₹5 lakh each to families of 13 deceased contractual teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam. The aid follows a contractual clause ensuring financial support in case of death during service. Documents from 93 other families are awaited. Dr. Pegu also warned unregistered schools of strict action and announced plans to form a committee to review academic calendar changes.
