Assam HSLC 2026 Results Declared; Pass Percentage Rises to 65.62%

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) announced the HSLC 2026 results with an overall pass percentage of 65.62%, showing a 2.5% improvement from last year.

Jyotimoy Das secured the first rank, followed by Akanksha Bhuyan, while Jiya Farah Islam and Surajit Akhtar shared the third position.

Out of 4.29 lakh students who appeared, 2.81 lakh passed. Boys outperformed girls with 67.78% against 63.96%.

Dima Hasao recorded the highest pass rate (88.23%), while Cachar had the lowest (49.13%).

Education Minister Ranoj Pegu and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated students and noted steady academic progress.
