Assam Launches School Monitoring Portal and Career Guidance Books

Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu launched a web portal to monitor school infrastructure projects and released career guidance books. The Civil Works Monitoring System, accessible via the Samagra Shiksha Assam portal, tracks construction progress with geo-tagged updates to ensure transparency.

Dr. Pegu also unveiled career guidance books developed with UNICEF, detailing over 200 career options across various fields. These resources, distributed to schools, aim to help students make informed career choices. Over 4,300 teachers have been trained to mentor students, with career podcasts further supporting guidance efforts.
