Assam Police Honored on Manipur Statehood Day

During Manipur’s 54th Statehood Day, nine Assam Police personnel received commendation certificates for their role in regional peace efforts. Chief Minister N. Biren Singh thanked Assam for its support, highlighting their training of 2,000 Manipur Police personnel in Dergaon. The training enhanced operational and soft skills to address common challenges like insurgency and the drug menace. Both states emphasized stronger coordination to tackle shared issues.
