Assam Police intercepted and prevented four Bangladeshi nationals from illegally crossing into India through the Karimganj border on Monday. This comes amid rising tensions in Bangladesh following the resignation of the Sheikh Hasina government. The Border Security Force (BSF) remains on high alert, with several attempts to infiltrate into India being thwarted in recent days.
