Assam Police Seize Drugs Worth ₹5.93 Crore in Two Operations

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said police conducted two successful anti-drug operations in Paschim Boragaon and Patharkandi, seizing narcotics worth about ₹5.93 crore and arresting three people. The raids led to the recovery of 83,399 Yaba tablets and 10 kg of cannabis.
Sarma reiterated the government’s zero-tolerance stand on drug trafficking and praised Assam Police for the crackdown. He said further investigation is underway and warned traffickers that there is “nowhere to hide.”
