Assam Police Seize Large Quantities of Drugs in Multiple Raids

Assam police conducted major anti-narcotics operations across several districts, arresting multiple drug peddlers. In Sivasagar, drugs worth lakhs were seized, and notorious peddler Noordin Ali was arrested.

In Barpeta, police arrested Alkash Ali with 22 grams of brown sugar, while another raid in Hajo led to the seizure of 35.3 grams of brown sugar from Bulbul Ali’s residence. Police also recovered cash, a bike, and a mobile phone.

These raids highlight Assam’s ongoing fight against the drug menace.
