Assam Police Seize Record-Breaking 21 kg Heroin Worth Rs. 210 Crore

In a significant development in the fight against drugs, the Cachar Police, in collaboration with the Special Task Force (STF) Assam, confiscated 21 kg of heroin valued at Rs. 210 crore in a joint operation. One individual has been apprehended, and an investigation into the matter is underway, as stated by the police. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma commended the efforts of the state police, declaring this drug seizure as the largest in Assam’s history, via the microblogging site ‘X’.
