Assam Reserves 3% Govt Jobs for Tea Tribes & Adivasi Candidates

The Assam government has allocated 3% of third and fourth-grade state jobs for Tea Tribe and Adivasi candidates within the 27% OBC/MOBC quota. Unfilled vacancies will go to other OBC/MOBC candidates but will be adjusted in future recruitments. If more Tea Tribe and Adivasi candidates qualify, they can compete under the full 27% OBC/MOBC quota. The move aims to improve job opportunities for these communities.
