Assam Reviews Skill, Employment and Youth Initiatives

Assam Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Minister Biswajit Daimary reviewed the progress of major skill development, employment and entrepreneurship programmes at a state-level meeting in Dispur. The meeting focused on ITI performance, admissions, employment services and key youth-oriented schemes.

Daimary stressed the need for a proactive and result-oriented approach to equip young people with skills matching the evolving job market. He also called for stronger coordination between ITIs and Employment Exchanges to improve employment and entrepreneurship opportunities across Assam.
