Assam Rifles Seizes ₹36 Lakh Illegal Medicinal Plants in Mizoram

Assam Rifles seized 102 bags of illegal anchiri (Paris polyphylla) worth ₹36 lakh at Zorinpui along the Indo-Myanmar border and arrested three persons.

The consignment, vehicle, and accused were handed over to local police and forest officials for further action.

The operation is part of ongoing efforts to curb cross-border smuggling.
