Assam Skill University to Revolutionize Vocational Education

Assam will soon witness a transformation in skill development with the Assam Skill University in Mangaldoi, set to open by July 2025.

Announced by Minister Prasanta Phukan, the university will feature modern classrooms, advanced labs, and workshops. Offering over 100 skill fields, it will prepare students for industries like IT, healthcare, and renewable energy.

Strategically located, the university aims to boost the Northeast’s economic and social growth, equipping students with practical, industry-ready expertise.
