Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) Leadership Sworn In

The newly formed Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) saw its Chairman, Ramesh Chand Jain, and Vice-Chairman, Rukma Gohain Barua, take their oaths on Friday in the presence of Education Minister Ranoj Pegu at SEBA office, Guwahati. ASSEB will oversee secondary education, including exams, certificates, and curriculum development. Pegu emphasized the integration of skill-based education and announced plans to upgrade and increase the number of schools in Assam to reduce dropout rates.
