Assam State Zoo Draws 2,000 Visitors Daily Despite Rainy Season

The Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden continues to attract around 2,000 visitors daily despite the ongoing rainy season, officials said.

Zoo authorities are organising guided tours and awareness programmes to promote wildlife conservation. Popular attractions include giraffes, green iguanas and ring-tailed lemurs.

Officials said efforts are underway to create a more natural habitat for animals and improve facilities for differently-abled visitors, along with online ticketing and enhanced visitor services.
