Assam Tightens Security for NEET-UG Re-Examination

Guwahati, Assam: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reviewed preparations for the NEET-UG re-examination scheduled on June 21 and directed officials to ensure a fair and secure process. Strict measures including CCTV surveillance, double frisking, police deployment, mobile signal jammers, and Section 144 around exam centres will be enforced. A total of 43,319 candidates will appear at 87 centres across 17 cities, while ASTC buses will provide free travel to candidates on exam day.
