Assam to Launch e-Jorip Portal for Digital Land Surveys

Guwahati: The Assam government is set to introduce the e-Jorip Portal under Mission e-Jorip to modernise land surveys and records across cadastral villages. The initiative, directed by Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, will use GNSS/RTK technology for faster and more accurate surveys and updated cadastral maps.

The digital platform will be integrated with Dharitree/ILRMS to enable real-time field surveys, map generation, quality checks, citizen verification and seamless updating of land records, aiming to make land administration more transparent and technology-driven.
