Assam to Launch Mission Basundhara 4.0 on December 25

Guwahati: The Assam Government will launch Mission Basundhara 4.0 on December 25, 2026, to strengthen land governance and expand land ownership benefits across the state. The new phase will introduce a digital Char area survey, special provisions for several indigenous communities, and improved digital land records.

The government said the initiative will also speed up land approvals for MSMEs and Khadi projects while enhancing transparency and ensuring secure land rights for eligible beneficiaries.
