Assam to Recruit 20,000 Teacher Educators for English and Media Literacy Training

Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu announced the state’s plan to recruit 20,000 ‘Teacher Educators’ for an intensive training program focused on English and Media and Information Literacy. This initiative aims to enhance teacher training quality across Assam.

Dr. Pegu made this announcement during the 18th International and 54th Annual ELTAI Conference at Royal Global University. He emphasized the importance of English as a global language and encouraged research in language learning and curriculum development. The event runs from October 23 to 26, 2024.
