Assam Woman Missing in Bengaluru, Family Seeks Government Help

Tamulpur, Assam: A 21-year-old woman from Harinchora village in Tamulpur district, identified as Sumi Das, has been missing in Bengaluru since Friday. She had moved to the city for work at a private company.

Her family learned about her disappearance on Sunday from her roommates and immediately filed a missing person complaint at Kumarikata Police Station. The family has appealed to the government to help trace her, expressing fears over her safety.

The incident has renewed concerns over the security of migrant workers from Assam employed in other states. Police have not yet issued an official statement, and the investigation is underway.
