Assam’s Development Models Inspire Other States: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that Assam has become a leader in administration and development. Several states have adopted Assam’s flagship schemes, like Orunodoi, under different names, including Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh. Speaking at the inauguration of the Jalukbari co-district, Sarma emphasized that Assam, once a follower, is now a model for others. He also highlighted that the co-district initiative would set new standards for administrative practices in India.
