At Guwahati’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan, 300 people, including former AASU leaders, joined BJP

At the state BJP office of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan in Guwahati today, three hundred people joined the BJP. Among them were former leaders of the AASU (All Assam Students’ Union) and Arkoshikh Chaliha, the son of former Congress MP Kirip Chaliha. Among the former leaders of AASU who have joined the BJP are Dibyajyoti Medhi, the organisational secretary, and several former officer-bearers from the student body’s organisational districts.
