AUS Agriculture Students Visit Citrus Research Station in Tinsukia

Agriculture students from Arunachal Pradesh got an opportunity to learn about ongoing agricultural research during an educational visit to Tinsukia on September 3. A group of 35 fourth-year students from Arunachal University of Studies (AUS), Namsai, toured the Assam Agricultural University-Citrus and Plantation Crops Research Station (AAU-CPCRS).

During the visit, AAU-CPCRS Chief Scientist Dr Raaj Kumar Kakoti interacted with the students and highlighted the station’s major achievements, research initiatives and areas of responsibility. The programme provided the students with practical exposure to research and developments related to citrus and plantation crops.
