AVFCCL Incorporated to Boost Fertilizer Production in Assam

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the incorporation of Assam Valley Fertilizer and Chemical Company Ltd (AVFCCL), a JV between the state and partners. The new brownfield ammonia-urea plant at Namrup aims to revive and expand fertilizer output. Approved by the Centre in March, work is set to begin by December.
