Awareness Rally to Highlight the Dangers of Fatty Liver Disease

“Run For Your Liver” Campaign on June 13, 2024

Guwahati, May 22, 2024 — In an effort to raise awareness about the silent but deadly disease, fatty liver, a group of distinguished doctors is organizing an awareness rally titled “Run For Your Liver” on June 13, 2024. The rally will start at 6:00 AM from Latasil Field and proceed to Nehru Stadium.

Fatty liver disease, often referred to as a silent killer, affects millions of people globally. It can lead to severe liver damage if not detected and treated early. Unfortunately, many individuals remain unaware of the seriousness of this condition, dismissing it as a benign issue. This rally aims to educate the public on the importance of early detection and lifestyle changes to prevent the progression of fatty liver disease.
