Bajali Administration Seals Two Unlicensed Pharmacies in Joint Drive

The Bajali district administration, along with police and drug control officials, conducted a joint inspection drive across the district to ensure compliance with drug regulations. Ten pharmacies were inspected during the operation.

Two pharmacies at Sukhmana Bazar were sealed for operating without valid licences under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Three others—Jeuti Medical, Haque Medical and TI Pharmaceutical—were issued notices for not installing mandatory CCTV cameras.

Authorities said such inspection drives will continue to enforce drug control laws and protect public health in Bajali district.
