BJP, AGP Talks on NDA Seat-Sharing for Assam Assembly Polls

State BJP president Dilip Saikia on Thursday said discussions with the AGP leadership are underway to finalize a seat-sharing arrangement for the 2026 Assam Assembly elections. He expressed confidence that NDA partners will amicably resolve all issues and contest all 126 seats together. Saikia said the alliance is strong at the grassroots level and talks will conclude soon, with winnability as the key criterion. He also urged NDA allies, including BPF and UPPL, to remain united for the polls.
