BJP Slams Congress for ‘Misplaced Sympathy’ Towards Suspected Illegal Immigrants

The BJP accused Congress of evicting indigenous people and resettling suspected illegal immigrants in Barkhetri for vote-bank politics. BJP spokesperson Kishor Upadhyay alleged Congress ignored indigenous rights and praised CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s eviction drive. He also accused Rajya Sabha MP Ajit Bhuyan of misusing MPLADS funds, citing 44 corrupt projects. BJP demanded prosecution and criticized opposition leaders for misleading people over CAA protests.
