Body Found Near Noonmati Rail Line, Family Suspects Foul Play

A body identified as Ashok Barman, 26, was found near the rail line in Noonmati’s Sector 3 on Saturday night. The family suspects foul play, noting injury marks inconsistent with a train accident. The New Guwahati GRP has registered a case and sent the body to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for a postmortem.
