Body of Another Drowning Victim Recovered from Brahmaputra

Rescue teams on Thursday recovered the body of 18-year-old Pratap Rai, who was swept away while bathing in the Brahmaputra at Kharghuli in Guwahati earlier this week. The incident occurred on December 10 when six members of a group were caught in strong currents despite warnings. One body had been recovered earlier, while three persons remain missing. Search operations by NDRF and SDRF teams are continuing, though chances of survival are fading.
