Bol Bom Devotee Drowns in Assam’s Bajali District

A Bol Bom devotee, 25-year-old Saurav Bhagawati, drowned while collecting water at the Kalidiya River in Assam’s Bajali district. The incident occurred near Kalibari Temple during the second Monday of Shravan. Saurav, recently employed by the Merchant Navy in America, was home to apply for a visa. SDRF recovered his body. His family criticized the area’s safety, citing a lack of protection and proper lighting.
