Bongaigaon Police Destroy Seized Drugs Worth ₹6.63 Crore

Bongaigaon: Bongaigaon Police on Sunday destroyed seized narcotics worth ₹6.63 crore at Birjhora Tea Estate as part of the Assam Police’s anti-drug campaign.
The destroyed contraband included over 1,027 kg of ganja, 294.59 grams of heroin, 13.084 kg of opium, tablets and capsules. Senior Superintendent of Police Numal Mahatta said the initiative sends a strong message to drug traffickers and reaffirmed the police’s commitment to building a drug-free society.
