BPF to Hold Mega Rally on December 5 Ahead of 2026 Polls

BPF chief and BTC CEM Hagrama Mohilary announced a large public rally on December 5 to unite communities and outline the party’s vision ahead of the 2026 Assam polls. He said the BPF may contest around 15 seats and is in talks with the NDA for a joint fight. Mohilary added that the upcoming BTC budget will allocate funds for poor families and SHGs and confirmed PM Narendra Modi’s expected visit in January to lay the foundation of key rail projects.
